Customers often ask: Where do the dogs relieve themselves while boarding? Do they get walked?
Boarding dogs play all day with the other dogs who come for daycare. While they are playing they relieve themselves in our ample play facility of nearly 4,000 sq ft.
Think of it like an indoor dog park. We employ true daylight lights in our facility so that the dog's normal circadian rhythm isn't disturbed while with us.
The dogs play all day and go to bed tired and happy having relieved themselves at will throughout the day instead of on some artificial walking schedule. It's more natural and better for the dog's health.

We recommend bringing your pup's food while boarding, it's better for their digestion.
Dogs must arrive at least one hour before closing time for boarding
We'll need you to fill out some important paperwork before you come in.

Important Vaccination Information
We require flea and tick protection in the form of a topical or in Pill form (Frontline, Advantix, etc.) during the warm weather months: March to November.
Flea collars are not accepted.
Dogs must have current vaccinations: --Rabies --Distemper+ Parvovirus (DHPP or DAPP) --Bordetella.
Your Vet can email it directly to us at:contact@FidosRetreat.com
We accept dogs over 4 mos. of age or when puppies have had their Rabies, and two rounds of Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations.
Boarding Reservations:
We’ll do our best to accommodate without advance notice. We can’t guarantee space unless a reservation has been made.
Charges based on 24hr. period. Pro-rated late fee rates apply after. Prorated rates: $31 for up to 5 Hrs. $45 past 5 Hrs.
Holidays:
Holiday Surcharge: $10 per day.

If you are running late please call well before closing and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We do not answer phones past closing.
Cancellations:
Notice of Boarding cancellation must be given prior to 3 days (5 days for Holidays) before scheduled day of service.
Refund and Cancellations:
No refunds. All sales are final.
